Packet Radio

The club currently runs a packet node, G0OUR-1 on 144.950MHz (VHF) and 430.625MHz (UHF). The node is based on the Kantronics KPC-9612+ TNC, and provides both a standard node, and a KA-Node.

The node provides access to the local packet network, and also has a gateway to the DX-Cluster network, ideal for the serious DX-er.

The club also has a 4m and 6m port running on the node, although these are currently not connected to an antenna.

The node is located on the Walton Hall campus, and is available for all local amateurs to use.

The sysop of the node is Adrian, M0ANS.
